Day 1..

Well here we are.  The beginning of the end.

I have generally lead a relatively unhealthy lifestyle.  Plenty of booze here, alot of unhealthy food there, never any vegies (I hate most of them) and too much time spent in front of the computer.

I do get out and exercise occasionally.  If the surf is good I'll drag myself out of bed early, I'll go kiteboarding if the sun is out and the wind is blowing, but it takes alot more to get me motivated than most.

Today I decided that I'm going to have a fresh start and document myself from Day 1 and see if there is a notable difference in this whole "being healthy" fad that so many people are getting into these days.

I actually had a fairly healthy breakfast this morning.  Muesli and yoghurt.  Actually tasted really nice.  But then I decided that if I'm going to do this properly then I really do need to start Day 1 as a normal regular day.  So I decided to have a normal regular lunch, similar to what I would have any other day.  So I grabbed one of  these....




My god it tasted good.  But here I am a few hours after eating it.  Still full, and completely worn out after a pretty full on day at work and a couple of arguments with council while I try to find loopholes in their system and get away with building a normal modest home instead of the retarded spastic shack they want me to build in it's place.

I've booked myself in for a run this afternoon when I get home.  I've bought myself a new pair of shoes, a running watch (Garmin 610 looks the goods) and it's about 13C outside, patchy rain and already dark.

My god what have I got myself into....
